~ THE HEART OF PASTOR CREASE ~
Let me start by saying, God is sending waves and it's critical to the cause of Christ for each leader to recognize the wave or waves God is sending their way. It is pressed upon my heart not to just lead, but lead with some tendencies of a go-getter. As a Pastor, I am Godly-inspired to NOT make it the normal Christian language, "Be like Jesus", but to make that a strong conviction that guides me as a leader who seeks to leverage opportunities that uplifts the Lord's agenda.
It is my passion not only to acknowledge, but also strongly emphasize Jesus as The Way, The Truth and The Life. Therefore as a Pastor, I am driven to be optimistic, creative and open to what's new, while managing or if need be, discarding what's old. As for me, it's not Jesus in theory, it's Jesus in the Bible. With that in mind and heart, not only has God inspired me to accept what's normal and simple; moving forward, as long as the task is for God's Kingdom advantage, I am also available to grow in what seems strange and unfamiliar.
Over the years I've come to learned that people will love you because you are you . . . and people will hate you for the same reason. So closure for me is aiming to have a healthy equilibrium while living, loving and leading like Jesus. Be blessed and be strengthened is my earnest prayer!
